What is the biggest trend in digital technology which will affect the travel & hospitality industry in the following years?
While Internet and Social Networking become part of day to day living, it is important that people need to be well connected. For travelers, Digital Technology facilitates them from their initial travel plan creation, information searching to match their preferences and proceed to their final booking and payment digitally at their fingertips. While travelling, travelers will need to be well informed and connected for both personal and business communications. Without Digital Technology and Internet, all these will not be possible. Hospitality Service Industry will be increasingly competitive. Service Providers will have to closely follow the trend to be efficient and competitive.
What is the most important challenge travel & hospitality professional will face in the digital era?
Hospitality service professionals need to be well trained on both technical skill and soft skill. Understanding of Digital and Internet Technology is mandatory for everyone while their soft skill will help to maintain high level of customer satisfaction.
