Interview

Conor Bracken
CEO @Andovar
What is the biggest trend in digital technology which will affect the travel & hospitality industry in the following years?
With the rise of emerging markets, increased affordability of air travel and increased specialization and market segmentation we’re seeing a greater number and diversity of travelers to a wider range of destinations. Digital delivery channels need faster and more targeted content, responding to big data analytics. All hospitality destinations will need more engaging, interactive and targeted content rather than generic online brochures.
What is the most important challenge travel & hospitality professional will face in the digital era?
Older approaches to marketing and localization do not keep pace with today’s requirements for higher volumes of content in more languages that are targeted to locale-specific SEO and marketing needs.
What solutions are you planning to present to the Digi.travel delegates and what issues these solutions solve?
Our experience with clients such as Lonely Planet, Sabre and Agoda as well as many niche hospitality companies allows us to offer turnkey translation/localization solutions that encompass automation, SEO, neural MT, multimedia and content “triage”.
